Tax set-aside planner
Enter the tax you expect to owe and anything already paid or withheld, and this shows what is left, split per instalment and per payday. It uses your figures — it does not calculate your tax.
This does not calculate your tax. It plans around a figure YOU enter. It does not know your rates, your jurisdiction or your filing dates, and it is not tax advice - check your obligations with your tax authority or an accountant.

Formula
Remaining = Expected − (Paid + Withheld)
Per instalment = Remaining ÷ Instalments
Per payday = Remaining ÷ Pay periods left How it works
Payments and withholding are kept separate rather than added into one 'already covered' number, because someone with a job and a side business needs to see whether the withholding alone is nearly enough. The set-aside is never negative: if you have already covered more than you expect to owe, it says so instead of showing a negative payment.
Example
Expecting 20,000, with 2,000 paid and 12,000 withheld, leaves 6,000. Across 4 instalments that is 1,500 each, or 250 a payday across 24 remaining paydays.
